Quarkkäulchen with berry compote

Our Saxon dessert bears fruit.

Ingredients for 4 portions:

  • LAWA Quarkkäulchen
  • 200g each of strawberries and raspberries (alternatively also: blackberries or rhubarb)
  • 1 tbs icing sugar
  • Water


Wash the berries, halve the strawberries, place in a pot with the water, cover the pot and leave to steam for approx. 10 minutes. Lightly crush the berries and refine with vanilla sugar. Place the Quarkkäulchen in an ungreased pan, heat for approx. 6 minutes on medium heat, turning them frequently, and serve with the berry compote.
