Giant Hefeklösse dumplings

Make sure your appetite is as big as our Hefeklösse dumplings – if not bigger. They’re a Saxon speciality, and taste particularly delicious when served with meat dishes containing lots of sauce, or sweet and fruity with warm blueberries, plum compote or vanilla sauce.

Zubereitung:

Mikrowelle

Moisten the Hefeklösse all over with water, cover them, and heat in the microwave at 700 W.

Cooking time:
3 pieces: 2 min.

Follow the appliance manufacturer’s instructions.

Kochtopf

We recommend preparing these in a cooking pot. Place the Hefeklösse dumplings in a sieve, place the sieve over a pot of approx. 250 ml boiling water, close the pot and leave to steam for approx. 10 min. Ensure the dumplings never come into direct contact with the water.
